Significance of Technology • Camcorders allow students to see themselves performing certain tasks. They will be able to compare their performance to either the instructor or to their own performance in the beginning. • Power point is a way to get students attention. A regular lecture bores students. It is a good way to keep them entertained while learning. • Laptops allow students to research information. They would have the ability to easily and quickly to search information such as rules to a game or sport. They can also find facts about health related issues. • The treadmill allows students to exercise indoors. They don’t have to worry about bad weather conditions. • Video games provide students with fun while exercising. They can become fit and enjoy doing it.
Compare/Contrast • Camcorders and Power point provide a visual. • Computers allow students to work at their own pace. They can learn at a rate that is comfortable to them. • Treadmill and the Will ensure that the students will stay active. • The prices of all of these items varies greatly.
