The PTA @ Smithfield • A national non-profit association of parents and educators with mission to make every child’s potential a reality. • Smithfield chapter: 268 members • Over 40 committees: fundraising, academic support, and enhancing our school community • Parents, Teachers, Administrators & Volunteers coming together for all children at Smithfield!

  5. Amazing Volunteers! • Volunteers are everywhere! • Room Parents • Academic Support (VAST, Accelerated Reader, Math) • Field trips • Character in the Classroom & Jr Achievement • Carpool, Office, Media Center, Health Room, Grounds • PTA committees & events

  11. PTA Financial Update • Operating Budget of $105,000 • $42,671.00 record breaking capital campaign • Expanded support from Community Partners • Successful fundraising events • Fully funded the PTA budget & beyond! • New investments in equipment, programs & resources!
