Wellness Resources The University of Windsor has many mental health and wellness resources: • All resources listed are free andconfidential. • You can find all resources online anytime by visitingwww.uwindsor.ca/wellness • Let's take a brief look at our snapshot of resources and how to access them...

Wellness Resources Where can I go On Campus for help? g Student Counselling Centre: CAW Rm 293 | Ext. 4616  Professional counselling by appointment or by walk-in hours.  Open Mon-Fri; 8:30am-4:30pm | Walk-in Mon-Fri; 1-4pm Student Health Services: CAW Rm 242 | Ext. 7002 Health services by physicians, nurses, dietician, and referrals to on-staff psychiatrist. Open Mon-Fri | 9am-5pm Peer Support Centre: CAW Rm 291 Walk-in emotional support by trained University of Windsor student volunteers. Open Mon-Fri | 10am-8pm

  3. Wellness Resources What support is available 24/7? Good2Talk: 1-866-925-5454  24/7 helpline for any post-secondary student problems.  Big White Wall: www.bigwhitewall.ca 24/7 support via an online community of members with shared experiences, monitored by clinical professionals.

  4. Wellness Resources What do I do in case of an Emergency? For any emergencies on campus, contact:  Campus Police 519-253-3000 ext. 4444 or dial 911. Community Crisis Line: 519-973-4435 Crisis intervention provided by professional crisis workers. Windsor Regional Hospital Walk-in Crisis Service: Emergency Department located at 1030 Ouellette Ave.

  5. Wellness Resources What are some Self-Care tools? TAO: Therapy Assistance Online Interactive modules available online to learn self-care strategies and life skills. Download the “TAO” app or visit www.uwindsor.ca/wellness/TAO. Take The Moment:  Reoccurring offerings of healthy activities e.g. yoga, mediation. For times and locations, download the “GoLancer” app or visit www.uwindsor.ca/wellness/events.

  6. Wellness Resources What can you do to Help Others? Be There: www.bethere.org  Learn how to support others through a list of easy steps, tutorial videos, testimonials, and answers to FAQs. Care Alert: Notify the University Assessment and Care Team of a student who you are concerned about in order to help them develop a personal care plan.
