A Path to Personalized Learningat Timber Ridge Elementary Personalized Learning is Just Enough, Differentiation Just in Time, Individualized Learning Just For Me. Personalized Learning
PersonalizedLearning • Personalized learning adjusts the pace (individualized), adjusts the approach (differentiation), and connects learner’s experiences and interests. • The learner is an active participant in designing their learning. • The use of technology, data, different teaching methods, and learning approaches combined to create an environment that meets individual learner’s needs.
Why transition to Personalized Learning? The traditional classroom model has some serious challenges.
Despite having different needs, all learners are treated the same. Does not complete homework Stage 6 GLOSS Speaks French Loves baseball Foster child Has a learning disability Cannot skip count
