A short Guide for LifeSizeSoftPhone • First of all, you have to download the software for LifeSizeSoftPhone (Windows edition) from: http://www.mirial.com/dmd/LifeSize-Softphone-installer.msi • In the next step please install the Software and the received license key which you got by email. E.g. my trial license: http://www.mirial.com/license.html?token=371005@79433e94357ff6401a5521edd9c2dc62

Configure your Camera & Audio Next, you have to configure your camera and audio, and – if you want to transfer an application for presentation side by side with your camera – last but not least the H.239 presentation mode.Look at: Settings -> Codecs -> Presentation H.239You have to set this item marked. For further instructions on this please refer to the user guide.

  5. Test the Configuration If you want test your configuration or your connection, call the (virtual) conference room on your own: Simply login into the video conference MCU and perform your tests. The connection parameters are: • Conference-ID: 0049 100 97921763 • Gatekeeper: pgk.vc.dfn.de (= 194.95.240.87) For your LifeSizeMirial-System, it will be: • 004910097921763@pgk.vc.dfn.de The (virtual) conference room is open all the time by default.

Configure your PowerPoint It‘s a good idea to set some parameters in PowerPoint: • In Register „Slide Show“-> „Set Up Slide Show“-> „Show Type“-> „Browsed by an Individual (Window)“ Then you will have a windowed Presentation be able to watch Mirial side by side with your Slide Show! Now you are ready to start your Presentation!

  11. Start the Presentation Mode Follow the instructions on animated picture! Please press the button on next page and the animation will begin!

  13. How to work in Presentation? Now you are ready to work with overlapping windows: In the next Picture I will show you my screen: PS: It‘s a good idea to set this picture as your static screen desktop and overlap the Mirial and PowerPoint windows with this one to get the correct size for optimal working.
