Network Directors’ Responsibilities Research Administrative Review • Foster an institutional culture that supports the ethical conduct of research throughout the network
Network Directors’ Responsibilities Research Administrative Review • Ensure adequate support for local research programs including, but not limited to: • Resources • Staff • Equipment • Infrastructure
Network Directors’ Responsibilities Research Administrative Review • Ensure local facilities’ compliance with all VA and other Federal requirements for the conduct of research including, but not limited to: • Protection of human subjects • Animal welfare • Information security
Models of Network Involvement in Research • Research Product Line • Network Research Group • Network Research Officer • Combination of the above
