(https://cloud.oracle.com/en_US/tryit) • Oracle University pre-build environment with software for Java development environment. • Connect to Secure Global Desktop (SGD) to access Oracle University Pre-Build Environment • Download instructions to connect SGD and the activity guide for this HOL • SGD: http://oukc.oracle.com/static14/public/Connecting_to_the_VM_Code_Day_HOL.pdf • Activity Guide: http://oukc.oracle.com/static14/public/2018_Oracle_Code_Day_HOL_Blackjack.pdf • Sign into Oracle cloud account on browser within SGD.   3. Get a USD $500 Trial Account • Sign up and get credits towards Oracle Cloud services available as pay-as you-go subscription. • Go to the Oracle Cloud website (https://cloud.oracle.com/en_US/tryit) • Create a free account

Agenda: BlackJack Hands-on-lab 1 Log into OU-provided Environment Build and Deploy the BlackJack App locally (This has been completed for you to provide you more time for working with Oracle Cloud Services.) To see how to deploy an application to Oracle Application Container Cloud Service • http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/obelabs/DeployJavaSEApplicationToACCS/javaSE_deploy_to_accs.html • In the “What Do You Need” section, clcik on the Blackjack_accs.zip link to download file and extract to your local folder (This is the Java SE application that you deploy.) • Instead of deploying application from build on Oracle Developer Cloud Service in the Oracle environment, you are deploying an application you download to your laptop and will deploy to Oracle Application Container Cloud Service Confidential – Oracle Internal/Restricted/Highly Restricted
