Facts 1913.- Last Big Eruption 1979.- Foundation of Juan Barragán with 20 families settled in the town. 1985.- Civil Protection Corporation was created time after the earthquake which hit México City and Ciudad Guzmán. 1999.- Frequent and intense tremors at The Colima. Only 16 families (67 inhabitants) in Juan Barragán.

Actions - 16 families evacuated down to San Marcos, to live in a shelter following a simulation project. - Scientist do more research in the area with sophisticated tools. - Scientist inform the findings to the Protection Corp. - C.P.C. Informs local, state and municipal officials. - State officers inform Federal authorities. - Federal goverment sends troops in a truck to protect the town from rubbery and carry people in case of an emergency.
