The Asah waterfall is a popular hiking spot and considered to be one of the best on the island. Perhentian Kecil Perhentian Kecil One of the two Perhentian Islands, Kecil is great for backpackers and is more of a party town compared to Besar. Perhentian Besar Perhentian Besar If you’re looking for a place where there’s plenty of places to eat, then Perhentian Besar is the most favourable. As it’s the off season, restaurants will be much quieter and that means you have more to choose from, however, be wary that some may have closed due to it being low season. Besar is a more luxurious setting compared to its sister island and those who’ve visited, say the sea is crystal clear, which is perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving.
