  2. Why is it important to express your point of view? • You show that you know exactly what you are talking about • You show that you are interested in what you are talking, it’s not only something you memorized • You keep the discussion going • Your speech is lively and fluent

How to say it better • First of all you show that you know exactly what you are talking about • Moreover you show you are interested in what you are talking, it’s not only something you memorized, you also present your personal opinion about the topic discussed • In addition to that,you keep the discussion going • And last but not least, your speech is lively and fluent

  5. If you can’t remember … • I’ve (completely) forgotten… (úplne som zabudol) • I have to admit I don’t remember. (musím sa priznať, že si nepamätám) • I appear to have forgotten. (zdá sa, že som zabudol) • I’m terribly sorry, but I can’t remember. (moc ma to mrzí, ale nemôžem si spomenúť) If you don’t know the answer, don’t be shy to admit it, it is still better than being quiet!!!

  7. Should children at school wear uniforms? • It seems to me that this is a problem that has both advantages and disadvantages. I am pretty sure it would be a revolution in our old-fashioned school system. Some people might think, it is copying of the western, mainly American school system, but I believe it would certainly blur the huge difference between social status of students since their clothes would all look the same. But to be honest, I personally wouldn’t like to wear clothes that somebody made me wear and in which I wouldn’t feel comfortable.
