Aims • To deliver real life examples of successful multi-agency information sharing and working. • To develop a framework which provides a solution for multi-agency information sharing. • meets national standards and protocols (information sharing, data protection and technical) • vendor neutral • enables implementation of local policy and change management
National eGov Project, sponsored by the ODPM • £7.1m project, £6m ODPM funding, £1m+ Local Authority Contributions • 8 work strands. • Work led by Local Authorities with Newcastle University, Health, Education, Police, Technical and other partners • 18 month programme, ends 31st October 2004
