  2. Population • Population is over 3,365,000. • The languages spoken are Polish. • The age expectancy is 75.7 years for each person.

  3. Geography The capital city is Warsaw. The major lakes and rivers are Bug, Narew, San, Notec, Pilica, Drawa, Nysa Klodzka, Propad, Pasleka, Rega, Bzura, Wisloka, Obra, Biebrza, Nida, Vistula, Oder, Warta, Nysa Luzyca, Wkra, and Dunajec. The climate is really cold.

  4. Culture • The culture is no work on Sunday and on holidays. • The religion is Catholic. • The holidays are celebrating Christ and other holidays such as New Year and Workers Day.

  5. Economy • The type of money used in Poland is zloty. • The imports are gas and oil • The major exports are furniture, cars, machinery, and metal and steel products.

  6. Goverment • The type of government of Poland is a Republic. • The current leader is BronislawKomorowski.

  7. Landmarks • The landmark is The Golden Gate. • It is located in Gdansk, Poland. • It is important because it has been there for over thousands of years and it is intact.

  8. Something that interested me. • One of the things that interested me was the salt cave with the carvings of warriors made of salt.
