  2. Concept • Navigation system for Klaus, a multi-story building • Working on mobile devices • Using GIS Server for navigation • To construct maps • To provide services • Having its own map images

  3. Development Environment • ArcGIS Desktop • ArcGIS Server with IIS • Windows CE 5.0 with C#

  4. Construct Map • On ArcGIS Map / Catalog • Consist of room nodes and route nodes • Searching shortest path based on 2D • Even though nodes have z-value for 3D • Connecting each floor by elevators or stairs

  8. Release Map • Release map to ArcGIS Server • Upload services to use

  9. Services • Sending 2 coordinates: • start point and end point • XML response • coordinates of every nodes
