Lossy compression means that the image loses quality and information each time it is saved • JPEG compression is used in a number of image file formats. • JPEG is the most common file used by digital cameras.

  3. PDF • Share files with others who don't have the same software. • Share files that will look the same fonts and layouts on multiple computer systems. • Create interactive forms that can be shared via email and the Web.

  4. PNG • PNG Stands for Portable Network Graphics. • PNG Offers better compression than GIF. • It can be used for 24 bit pictures (16+ million colours.
