EPRI Confidential Guidelines to Using the EPRI Template • Do not make any changes to the master slides • One approved exception: • “EPRI Confidential” or “Business Confidential” can be added to the top right corner when appropriate • Do not make any changes to the title slide other than the placeholder text • Do not obscure the EPRI logo with text or graphics • Do not include any photos, graphics or other content that EPRI isn’t authorized to use • If you include the optional EPRI tagline slide in your presentation, do not alter the text
Making the EPRI Template Your Default Presentation • Download the template to your workstation from insideEPRI • Open the template • Go to File / Save As and select Other Formats • For Save as type: select PowerPoint Template (*.potx) • The dialog box will automatically navigate to your Templates folder • Name the file blank.potx and click Save. (If prompted, replace the previously existing file.) • As a result, the EPRI template will open whenever you create a new presentation
Applying the EPRI Template (Theme) to an Existing Presentation • If you have not already done so, download the 2012 template for Office 2007 and open it • Select the Design tab • In the Themes ribbon, click on the bottom arrow to the right • Select Save Current Theme… • Name the theme “EPRI PowerPoint Theme.thmx” • Close the template and open an existing presentation • Select the Design tab • In the Themes ribbon, select “EPRI PowerPoint Theme” • Review slides
