Michel Thomas Method • The method focuses on constructing long sentences with correct grammar and building student confidence. • The learning process itself that motivates the students. • The teacher then introduces short words and phrases in the target language. The students are asked how they would say the phrases in the target language, starting with simple sentences and gradually building up to more advanced constructions

  3. Good points • The strength of the method lies in its progressive building up of ready-to-use vocabulary, sentences, and expressions. • It really does help with the memorization of vocabulary, which is often something many students of foreign languages struggle with. • The students could learn from their mistake.

  4. Bad points • This method is hard to teach students who have badconfident to speak. • Sometime the teacher should have patient enough to teach the students who have very low in catching the material. • The students can not take note so when they forget the phrases or sentences they will take a time to memories it.
