How is Time Worked Entered using SAP Plant Maintenance? • Order Completion Confirmation • A completion confirmation captures the time worked (start time, stop time) • Labor hours are calculated from these start and stop times • Overlapping times are not allowed • There is an indicator that the work is complete • There is a text field for the worker to record notes or comments • The labor hours are transferred to the CAT2 time sheet for that employee
What is Equipment in SAP Plant Maintenance? • An equipment is a uniquely identifiable object • You can install it • You can maintain it separately from maintaining the building or room in which it is installed • You can remove it SAP keeps history of the maintenance of that equipment regardless of where it is installed. Nameplate and technical information are stored with the equipment master record. Preventive maintenance may or may not be scheduled for an equipment.
