Marketing Manger • Funds requested: Rs. 5,000/month (Rs. 60,000 for the year) • Question: Specifically what is the role of the marketing manager? • Answer: • Identify people from those already trained who have the potential and capability to be further trained in marketing skills. • Develop and implement a training program for them to acquire these skills including skills of quality control. • Work on their language and communication skills. • Help them develop a network of customers for them along with them - so that they can carry on with their work even without the presence of CAN. • Question: What would the milestones of the role be? • Answer: • 1. Identification of persons to be trained in marketing skills (1st month) • 2. Start the training process (1st to 5th month) • 3. On field experience and building network (6th month onward) • Question: Would it be okay if we funded the marketing manager role for 6 months, and then re-evaluated the role before funding it for another 6 months? • Answer: Yes.
