Tree That Saved 150 Lives Great Flood along the Musi River, Hyderabad, India, September 28, 1908 AmjadHyderabadi, the famous Urdu poet, was one of the 150 people who were saved by hanging on to the branches of this Tamarind tree. Amjad lost his mother, wife and daughter to the flood, and later wrote a poem "Qayamat-e-Soghra" detailing this tragedy.
