The main program’s characters are Joannie Taylor who plays the Nan, Lauren Cooper who plays a lazy, bad mouthed teenage school girl, Kate who plays a woman in an office, the Aga Saga Woman who tends to scream a lot, Derek Faye a man who is in denial of his sexuality, Janice who expresses her disgust at the various signs of multi-culturalism with her husband Ray, Geordie Georgie who plays a frequent petitioner, Ally who plays a tactless woman with good intentions and lastly Bernie who plays a vulgar nurse with an infectious snort.
