  2. Why it matters • We saw that organizations have been facing ethical problems, and they have experienced negative outcomes, including bankruptcy and liquidation. • Managers, shareholders and others are becoming increasingly concerned about ethical behavior of all employees.

  3. What I’ve tried to do • In this course, we’ve looked at a variety of ethical issues. • I hope you feel I haven’t tried to teach you what to think, so much as how to think. Developing a thinking process to address these issues will be very important to your career success. • The book has emphasized ethics as behavior, rather than ethics as attitudes. It’s about doing the right thing!
