  3. Day 1 • Our first boat: • It couldn’t float because… • The secret potion didn’t work • Balloons too big so it was pulling boat up, so cap wasn’t in water • To make it better we… • Added a paddle (fought against secret potion, if potion worked anyway)

  4. Day 2 • Modified boat two by… • Adding paddle to front to work with potion (if potion worked) • Paddle kept hitting the bottom

  5. Day 3 • We made a whole different boat called the Speed Splash! • It works because… • We have a balloon that deflates • When balloon deflates the air pushes the boat • The water bottle shape helps the boat cut through the water easily • The chopsticks helps keep it balanced
