How Do Hurricanes form? • 1. A hurricane forms in warm ocean water • 2. Winds coming together force air upward • 3. Winds flow outward above the storm
Know the news. • Hurricane watch and warning are two different things but they are similar in ways. • Hurricane watch is wind conditions up to 74 MPH.(Miles per hour.) It will possibly be in your area in approximately 36 hours. • Hurricane Warning is a hurricane WILL be in your area in 24 hours. A hurricane has been spotted.
