  1. Welcome to Mrs. Majerus’ Class 5th grade Bible and History

  2. I am a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Elementary Education and Bible. • I am married to Adam. • We recently moved from Chicago. • I have lived all over the United States as well as in South America.

  3. Bible • Bob Jones “Bible Truths” which covers topics throughout Scripture with a focus on redemption • Memorization of verses related to salvation • Test every Friday • Devotional and prayer journal • Bible timeline project

  4. History • A Beka “The History of Our United States” chapters 11-18 which covers the signing of the Constitution through present day • Geography • Weekly geography assignments • Projects • Interactive Notebooks • Covered wagon projects • Civil War research project

  5. My Classroom • Due to the exciting nature of our curriculum, much of my classes are discussion based and interactive. • I use a variety of activities in the classroom to engage with different learning styles since each student learns differently. • In addition to our curriculum, I will be emphasizing organization and social skills through daily activities.
