INPUT • Put relevant pictures to make the diary more interesting • Include more details in the diary about what kind of food you are eating, how do you get it (see the part printed in red color) • Write until Day 7 not only Day 6 • Write longer paragraph by putting more details for each day.
Day 1 • I curse the wild dogs who killed Ramo, I will kill them one day so I’ve gathered stuffs to make weapons to kill the wild dogs. I made a bow and a arrow which was quite enough. Also a spear that could be thrown for killing. I swear to kill them especially the leader who killed Ramo.
Day 2 • After making the weapons I burn the village of Ghalas-at because It reminded me of the tragedy and horror that happened and so I moved to the headland, I slept on a rock covered in seaweed and kelp in the night and when sun rose I went searching for food such as abalones, shellfish, and seeds
Day 3 • Finally, tired of waiting I decided to sail to the island far east to the place my tribe went with the white. So I gathered food, dried them, stored water, and pick the smallest canoe and in a few days I was on my way toward the island far east
Day 4 • I sail the canoe to the far east, I drank and ate from the basket. I used the stars in the night and the sun in the morning guide me to the far east. Then suddenly I noticed that the canoe is leaking. So I had to make my way back to the island, the last thing I saw was dolphins swimming near the island.
Day 5 • As I woke up, I was washed up in the sandspit, then headed to the headland. When I reached to headland I saw the whole island of the blue dolphins which made me realized that the island of the blue dolphins is my home and there is none other. So I decided to make my home near the headland which has a good spring and is sheltered from the wind
Day 6 • I remembered there were 2 whales that were washed up on the beach years ago, though a lot of it’s bone were missing, the ribs were still there, I took them out of the sand one by one and brought it to the headland. I made a fence out of them stood with their edges curving out and almost touching which made it impossible to climb. Then I weaved them with bull kelp which shrinks as it dries and tightens it’s grip.
