  4. Main Features The Tidewater Region is next to the Atlantic Ocean and west of the Fall Line. The Fall Line zone has larger streams. It has flat land. It is part of the Chesapeake Bay and the lowest point sea level.

  10. main features • The Piedmont region is located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is east of the Fall Line. The region has many historical places including Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown. Costal plain is west from Valley and Ridge. The piedmont region is a great place to visit.

  14. Main Features The Valley and Ridge region is located in the west part of VA and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Valley and Ridge has the Great Valley. Valley and Ridge is west of Appalachian Plateau.

  19. Main Features • These are facts about the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Blue Ridge Mountains have old rounded mountains. It is east of the Piedmont region which we live in. Also the Blue Ridge Mountain region is the longest but skinniest region in Virginia. On a nice and sunny day the mountains look blue but it’s really not.

  24. Main Features • Appalachian Plateau is the smallest region in Virginia. It is Northwest of the Valley and Ridge region. It has a lot of coal but it does not have big cities. Appalachian Plateau had an Indian group, the Cherokee. Appalachian Plateau is in SW Virginia.
