  2. Watch the following video clip: I Forgot my Phone Quick discussion: what are your thoughts on the video? Can you relate to it in anyway?

  3. “This is why you don’t succeed” –Simon Sinek on The Millennial Generation Watch the following video clip (up to approx. the 8:14 mark). Then discuss debrief with your group. Simon Sinek interview • What do you agree with or disagree with in the video clip? • Do you believe your generation (Gen Z.) faces similar obstacles that that Sinek discusses? • Are you addicted to your phone? Do you need to hsve your phone on you at all times?

  4. Survey says… • Go to: mspreibisch.com • Under the English 12tab is the survey: “Tech and You” and a link to an article, “When Smart Phones go to school”. • Read the article and consider your cellphone usage and whether or not you agree with the article. • Next do the 10 question survey on Survey Monkey. • Discuss ideas with table groups & independently complete a Learning Log for homework.

  5. Learning Log Reflect on today’s lesson and visit mspreibisch.com There you will find the learning log criteria. Your written response should connect to our discussion and your thoughts regarding cellphone use and your generation. Consider the following: What did you learn from the article or videos? How do you feel? Was anything brought to light in your conversation at your table that you are now curious about or concerned with? Do you think there are concerns with how tech is being used today and how it will impact your future? Do you think your generation will be impacted differently than the one that preceded you and/or the one that follows you? Explain.
