Case for Porting RDM and Approach Future Today S80/P680 S80 Regatta Server Porting HACMP Fail-over RDF RDM RDM RMS eAI • Case for Porting RDM: • IT Strategy to move to improved technology platform • HACMP Fail-over • Greater scalability • Dynamic allocation of system resources for peak processing • More resilient disk architecture - ESS • Porting Approach: • Perform certification tests on new technical infrastructure stack • Build Regatta server and introduce HACMP fail-over software • Perform port test on Regatta whilst RDM is still ‘live’ on the S80 • Acceptance test porting approach • RDM goes live on Regatta server.
