  2. Take Time Apollo 13 launch on Saturday April 11, 1970. In the United States of America. At Pad A. Launch Complex 39, KSC.

  3. Crew Members James A. Lovell John L. Swigert Jr., and Fred W. Haise Jr.

  4. Mission • The type of mission I have is an Apollo mission. • The purpose of the mission it to reach the moon. • Yes, there were complications it was an exposition.

  5. Outcome • The first and second burn went good. The second burn, the crew had to make sure that the engine was pointed in just the right direction and, because of the accident, they had with some unusual navigation problems. Because they were traveling through space, there was nothing to separate the cloud of Service Module trash that surrounded the spacecraft. LM saw them trying to make star sightings, a little bit of sun light sunlight reflecting off some trash made the job all but impossible. They were all tired and kept making strange mistakes. But they kept trying and, The space men in Houston figured out how to use sightings of the Sun and the crescent Earth to make sure their alignment and then did the it over and over to make sure that they had it right. The time came, and the burn was perfect. And got home safely.
