View Tabs in CE6 Build or Teach?
In CE 4: There are two Views or tabs: • Designer Options (Create and Teach course) • View (See course as students do.)
In CE6: There are 3 views
Views correspond to New Roles: • Build = Designer (creates materials) • Teach = Instructor (teaches the course) • Student View = actual student view
CE-6:Build View – Course Tools • Create, organize and manage content • Design quizzes and assignments for assessing student learning • Change organization and visual presentation of the course
CE-6:Build View—Designer Tools Designer “Tools” unique to Build View; designer “sets” the course up to be taught.
CE-6:Teach View • Communicate with students • Grade assignments, quizzes and gradable discussions • Manage grade book, assignments, assessments, discussions and groups

CE-6:Student View • “True” student view • Experience course as a student, including • Taking quizzes • Submitting Assignments • “Test” student created automatically for each course • Activity is not included in statistics
CE-6:Student View Tools available in CE4 course are brought over to student view.
