  2. When & Where was it Launched • Space shuttle Columbia was launched (January 16,2003) the disaster (April 12,1981) first launch. It was launched at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

  3. The Crew Members • Rick Husband, William McCool, Michael Anderson, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Lauren Clark & Ilan Raman.

  4. Outcome • The outcome was that the mission failed and Columbia shuttle crashed in 73 seconds.

  5. Purpose of the Mission • They where going to get information from space.

  6. Interesting facts • Ilan Ramon was the first Islam in space. • The temperature and pressure gauges went off scale and made the shuttle crash. • The first launch was April 12, 1981 • It has had 28 flights. • 7 astronauts were killed during the disaster. • There was hills named after the crew members. The Columbia hills
