  3. Behavior • Female yaks and their babies travel in herds of hundreds of animals • The herd protects the young from from enemies such as wolves

  4. Yak’s Habitat • Lives in mostly treeless lands • Lives in mountains • Also lives in flat lands

  5. Interesting Facts About The Yak • Yaks can climb 20,000 feet above sea level • Yaks reach their full size from the age of 6 to 8 years old
