What is a wanted poster? A wanted poster is a poster distributed to let the public know of an alleged criminal whom authorities wish to apprehend. The poster will usually include a description of the wanted person and the crime(s) for which he/she is sought.

What is an M.O.? • Latin: modus operandi • Approximately translates to “method of operation” • The term is used to describe someone’s habits or manner of working • Example: “Suspect 1 approaches and engages the victim in conversation. Suspect 2 places hand within bag carried by victim while victim is distracted and steals belongings”
