Clutch “washer mod” or “contact button mod”. “washer mod” (30 minutes max!). No oil will leak out on removal. 10mm. 1/16” thick .06mm. 6mm. Stock Harley chromed washer CCI part # 35604. Washer installed. Make sure washer does not foul rubber gasket # 2 on re- fitting.

  5. Washer installed

  6. Make sure washer does not foul rubber gasket # 2 on re- fitting

  7. Slight gap – can affect 100th anniversary cover re-fitting

  8. “contact button mod”

  9. Contact button removal • Remove snap ring # 1 • Remove lifter guide # 3 • Contact button is removed with # 3 as one assembly • Contact button part # is 36780-01K (cost +/- $2.60) • Remove button from lifter guide as shown in next slide • Machine .060” from the face of the large end

  10. Tap as shown or use a brass drift
