  3. Order From the Sun • Venus is the 2nd planet from the sun • Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun • It takes Venus 224 days to orbit the sun • It takes Earth 365 days to orbit the sun

  4. The Size and Appearance of Venus • Earth and Venus are about the same size • Bright to naked eye

  5. Atmosphere and Gravity • The atmosphere on Venus is 3% Nitrogen 96% carbon dioxide • Earth’s atmosphere is made out of water, grass, and life • Venus has no gravity so you would float if you went there • Earth has gravity so you don’t float
