  1. In your lifetime, your career/job path will change a minimum of six to eight times due to changes in interests, abilities, and future technology.

  2. College and Career Fair 2018 Wednesday, October 24th, 2018

  3. Who should go? • All students and parents from Eisenhower, Shepard, Richards, and Delta/Summit

  4. What is it? • An opportunity for students and parents to meet with various representatives (over 130 participants) • College representatives from across the United States • Career and Technical Schools • Career Cluster Representatives • 30 minute break out sessions topics • Financial Aid and Scholarships

  5. When and where? • Wednesday, October 25th after school from 4:00-6:00pm. • CHSD 218 Administrative Center 10701 S. Kilpatrick Oak Lawn

  6. Why are we having a district-wide fair? • Colleges/Universities, Career/Technical Schools and Career Professionals are more willing to attend when they can meet with a large number of students (district wide fair = more opportunity for students) • Students who are truly vested will be in attendance • An opportunity for parents to attend with their students

  7. How will students get there? • Shuttle busses will be provided from each building to the Administrative Center if students need transportation. • Students should sign up in the Counseling Office

  8. Break-Out Sessions • FAFSA/Scholarships • ISAC will provide information to students and parents about the Financial Aid process and how to find scholarship money.
