Child Injury Prevention and Care Initiatives Update

Over the last 12 months at #BHPhitconf, innovative projects such as research on children's burns, wound healing techniques, and interventions for head injuries were discussed. Efforts were made to develop smart dressings to detect wound infections and prevent post-concussion syndrome. Initiatives also focused on evaluating services for young children with head injuries and trampoline injury surveillance. Collaboration with British Red Cross aimed to enhance first aid education for specific populations. Future plans include strategic reviews and supporting Bristol Public Health in child injury prevention.
