Who we are • Clarion Futures Jobs and Training is funded predominately through the Clarion Housing Group Community Trust • Part of the successful Clarion Futures brand incorporating Money, Digital, Community Investment, Jobs and Training • This year, our Jobs and Training team in the East delivered over 1,000 job starts within poor and deprived communities, helping some of the furthest to reach customers back into work or into their first paid role. • We deliver accredited training courses • Offer a suite of employability, well-being and self-employment focused courses, as well as career and business coaching

Our Offer • Job Clubs in Wisbech, March and Peterborough offering drop-in support for CV’s, job search and IT help, careers advice and on-line learning • Unlimited one to one IAG and careers guidance • Grants to support purchase of equipment and travel to and from work / aid business start up. • Accredited training; SIA, CSCS, Food Safety Level 2, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Introduction to employment opportunities following successful completion. • Introductory courses linked to labour market needs; Introduction to Retail, Introduction to Business Admin, Introduction to Working with Children, Introduction to Working in Schools • Well-being courses such as Catching Confidence and Time to Take Off • Free on line learning courses via the Virtual College eg: Food Safety Level 2

  4. Self Employment • We can offer training to your customers, giving them the tools to launch their own business. This includes how to trial and market test business ideas and how to manage their finances. • The emphasis of the project is to support people into self employment but if self employment is not the correct route for them we will also support them into employment. • We can offer self employment and employment workshops/training including Ideas Lab to help people establish a solid business idea if they do not have one already.

Future Plans • 2 Day CSCS Course, Peterborough, 23rd May • Customer Service Accredited Qualification – 17th June, 9.30am  – 2.30pm at the Boat House, Wisbech (10 sessions taught Monday to Friday for two weeks) • Digital Skills Workshop: On Line Forms and Job Searching, 12th June, 1pm – 3pm, Oasis Centre, Wisbech • Digital Skills Workshop: Social Media for Job Search, 26th June, 1pm – 3pm, Oasis Centre, Wisbech • Communications Workshop – 18th June 9.30am – 12.30pm – Oasis Centre, Wisbech, - (part of a two part course, Positive Me, the second part will follow on 9th July) • CV Workshop – 19th June, 1pm – 3pm, Oasis Centre, Wisbech • SIA Course – 24th June (two weeks full time), 9am – 4pm, Seetec Offices, Church Mews, Wisbech • Ideas Lab – 11th June, Allia Centre, London Rd, Peterborough, PE2 8AN, 9.30 – 3.30pm To book on to any of these courses contact Andrea 07712 691167 andrea.myers@clarionhg.com or Dee OwusuAnsah 07710 115220 Dee.OwusuAnsah@clarionhg.com
