Bon Secours Health System • $3.3 billion not-for-profit Catholic health system sponsored by Bon Secours Ministries • Headquartered in Marriottsville, Maryland • The system owns, manages, or joint ventures • 19 acute-care hospitals, • 1 psychiatric hospital, • 5 nursing care facilities, • 4 assisted living facilities, and • 14 home care and hospice services. • Located in 6 states primarily on the East Coast
Bon Secours Richmond Health System • Four acute care hospitals with 850 licensed beds • Bon Secours Medical Group • 118 Primary Care Physicians • 119 Specialists • 91 Medical Practices • FY 2012 • 47,372 total inpatient visits • 206,096 total outpatient visits • 221,107 total emergency room visits
Our Mission The Mission of Bon Secours Health System is to bring compassion to health care and to be good help to those in need, especially the poor and dying. As a System of caregivers, we commit ourselves to help bring people and communities to health and wholeness as part of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church.

St. Joseph’s Outreach Clinics • Located on the campus of St. Joseph’s Villa • Provides care to the uninsured and the insured, mostly Medicaid • Collaboration with the Daily Planet, a federally qualified health center
Bon Secours CareCard • The CareCard is an extension of the Bon Secours Financial Assistance Plan • Allows qualified patients to seek care with ease and dignity • $81.5 million (cost) in fees were written off by Bon Secours Richmond in FY 2011
