  5. Home Screen • Finding Hidden apps • Checking app history • Closing and deleting apps

  6. Hidden Apps • If your child is savvy, they will figure out how to hide apps. These apps can be found 3 different ways. • Search the iPad • Browse the purchased history • Check Folders • Apps can be completely hidden from the iPadhome screen. You will not be able to see them but they are still downloaded on the iPad.

Hidden AppsApp Store History • Open App Store • Choose PURCHASED at the bottom of the screen • App with a picture of a cloud next to it = not on the device but has been downloaded/purchased at some point in time • App with an OPEN button next to it = that app is currently on the device and can be utilized.

  11. Checking iPad History Double Click the home button

  12. History Screen*Order from most recent Swipe left to view apps that have been opened and used. Swipe up from an app to close it.

  14. Turning on Restrictions • You will need to set a 4 digit pin. • You can… • Set what is allowed to be used on the iPad • What content is allowed to be downloaded or viewed • What changes can or cannot be made

  18. iTunes and App Store • How to setup? How to create safe measures. • Who should have an account? (PARENTS) • Who knows the password? (PARENTS) • Credit card or iTunes card?

  21. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUT IN A CREDIT CARD TO HAVE AN ITUNES ACCOUNT!!!
