Tips for Success • Practice it! • Try more than one recording tool • Tell students the FIRST day that you are going to use audio feedback and review the method you will use including file type .wav.aiff. .aac.mp3 • Include the requirement to listen to audio files in the syllabus!
Tips for Success • Provide students with a “How to” handout • Easier if students turn in papers electronically • Ask students to number sentences or paragraphs • Do a test of the method with the students ASAP • Use a standard format for the subject line of the email/discussion board, and the audio file name • You do not have to change your overall feedback ‘plan’ you have always used.
