  4. Reason for attendance • Portsmouth and South East Hampshire system leaders’ meeting • Listen to concerns and ideas

  5. Context • Redevelopment of SMCHC (£10.3m), including refurbishment of blocks B and C • Movement of services from St. James’ Hospital to SMCHC • Existing car parking pressures

  6. Context • Use of Fratton Park for staff parking • Use of hire cars to support alternative methods of getting to work • Responding to complaints and feedback • Signage improvements • Number and location of pay machines • Disabled blue badge holders • Working to improve public transport links • Charging for car park spaces

  7. Other considerations • Portsmouth City Council global warming emergency initiative • Previous thoughts on a multi-story car park solution
