Federal Courts • District Court- hear cases involving criminal law( murder, etc.) and civil law ( divorce, etc.) • Appellate/Circuit courts- hear appeals from lower courts • Supreme Court- final court of appeals, They can only be changed by another ruling by the Supreme Court
