Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic Marketing efforts last half year(in addition to new sponsors) • November: East Greenland Workshop, GEUS • Good talks with BP, but no progress with followups • December: Steve Bergman - Shell visit to GEUS • Showed interest and promised to take it up with the Stavanger office. No recent news on progress • January: FORCE meeting in Stavanger • Discussed project with new Dana Petroleum employee hired specifically for Norway/Greenland conjugate margin expertise. Dana is expanding their operations off Norway and may be interested in Greenland. BGS followup? (Dana is in the Faroe-Shetland consortium; they are owned by KNOC, also interested in Greenland).

Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic Marketing efforts last half year(in addition to new sponsors) • March: Statoil visit to GEUS • ????? • April: Centrica • GEUS visit to Stavanger office • BGS meeting with UK office • April: GDF Suez • Several visits to GEUS for other business. Over the past year and half, several from GDF Suez have said they have recommended the project to management, but approval from higher up seems difficult.

Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic Key events • November 12-13: Survey workshop in Copenhagen • January 14-15: Workshop 4 in Utrecht • January 14: Fourth Steering Committee meeting • February 5-6: WP1/3 meeting in Edinburgh • February 20: UiB, NGU, GEUS visit to NPD • HaraldBrekke is reviewing and quality checking the Norwegian margin work - but only informally • March 14-15: WP4 meeting in Copenhagen • April 23: WP leaders and survey reps in Copenhagen • status and workshop 5 planning

  14. Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic 4th Steering Committee Meeting Minutes are attached for endorsement/approval. No significant changes to previous decisions and plans were made.

Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic 4th Steering Committee Meeting • Highlights from discussions and sponsor feedback: • Overall postive feedback. • Sponsors were happy with regular website and database updates provided during the fall and results were used in license applications. • Key issues raised were regarding priorities and quality control as the project enters the critical phase of finalising the database. • Sponsors wanted to ensure that integration topics were addressed and presented at the Tórshavn workshop

  16. Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic Budget - Sponsor Funds Available GEUS has now collected 75% of the external funds. Main difference compared to previous is the addition a new company sponsor.

  18. Tectonic Development of the Northeast Atlantic Payments from GEUS Green column can be paid now as needed by each survey and includes all travel reported. Additional travel can be reported and invoiced to GEUS as needed. Blue column is expected payment in 2014 after project ends.
