2. Ignorance • Stupid parents give their children stupid names • “I told her the actress’s name was actually TempesttBledsoe. She said she found that out later, that they had misspelled the name. I asked her if she knew what ‘Temptress’ meant, and she said that she also found that out at some later point.” The mother was ignorant and didn’t have a good vocabulary. She didn’t know how to spell the word or what it meant. She also didn’t know how to properly raise children. • They raise stupid kids • Stupid kids then become stupid and raise stupid kids. • The name doesn’t affect the child. It’s the parents that raise them that truly affect how the child acts.

3. Intelligence • Intelligent people give their children intelligent names • They raise intelligent kids • Intelligent kids then become intelligent and raise intelligent kids • Therefore, the name doesn’t affect the child. It’s the parents that raise them that truly affect how the child acts.

4. Exceptions • Winner and Loser- • brothers • Winner became a criminal • Loser became a policeman • Ted Kaczynski • Raised in a good home, but became the unibomber • Roland G. Fryer • Average city kid that went to Harvard and became an African-American activist.
