PACE Structure • FCLB Board of Directors • Has overall responsibility • Works to resolve appeals • Makes final decisions about policies and criteria
PACE Structure • PACE Committee – 6 members • 2 - Regulatory boards • 1 - FCLB Director • 1 - Licensing board administrator • 1 - At-large member • Chair of PACE Review Team • Oversees PACE Review Team • Makes recommendations to FCLB Board
PACE Structure • PACE Review Team – approx 18 • Subject experts from ACC colleges • Review Team members randomly selected to assess CE provider applications and determine ability to comply with PACE Policies & Procedures and Criteria • Retrospective review of course content for compliance
Authority • PACE is a multi-layer program, relying on representatives of regulatory boards, ACC colleges, and licensing board administrators • PACE WILL NOT and CANNOT be the only approval process available
Fees • Application fee: $500 • Not-for-profit annual recognition fee: $1,000 • For-profit annual recognition fee: $10,000 • Attendee records fee: $1 per credit hour, per attendee—maximum $10 per attendee • Reconsideration fee: $500 • Appeal: $1,500 initial deposit (fee determined by costs)
