  1. HOPE AUSTRALIA 7TH DECEMBER 2012 INFORMED INTERCESSION

  2. ACCOUNTABILITY • INDIVIDUALS 2 Cor 5:9-10  Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

  3. ACCOUNTABILITY • If we rule over others Heb 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Parents and under shepherds.

  4. ACCOUNTABILITY • Cities Matt 11:20-24 Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be[d] brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”

  5. ACCOUNTABILITY • Nations Psalm 110:5-6 The Lord is at your right hand;He will crush kings on the day of his wrath. He will judge nations, heaping up the deadand crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

  6. ACCOUNTABILITY • Nations Matt 25:31  “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

  7. 3 KEY BOUNDARY MARKERS FOR A NATION • Romans 3:10; 3:23 and 6:23. The Bible states all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, however the Bible also explicitly states that certain sins or actions at a corporate level will move a key boundary marker in a nation and brings defilement to the land. • When key boundary markers are moved or removed in people, a city or a nation, defilement sets in, the enemy is energized and empowered to advance its influence over a person, family or a geographical area. It also brings a nation on a collision course with God.

  8. FIRST BOUNDARY MARKER • SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD (ABORTION) Pro 6: 16.These six things the Lord hates,Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:17 A proud look,A lying tongue,Hands that shed innocent blood,18 A heart that devises wicked plans,Feet that are swift in running to evil,19 A false witness who speaks lies,And one who sows discord among brethren.

  9. FIRST BOUNDARY MARKER Psalm 106 • 34 They did not destroy the peoples, • Concerning whom the LORD had commanded them, • 35 But they mingled with the Gentiles • And learned their works; • 36 They served their idols, • Which became a snare to them. • 37 They even sacrificed their sons • And their daughters to demons, • 38 And shed innocent blood, • The blood of their sons and daughters, • Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;

  10. FIRST BOUNDARY MARKER • And the land was polluted with blood. • 39 Thus they were defiled by their own works, • And played the harlot by their own deeds. • 40 Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against His people, • So that He abhorred His own inheritance. • 41 And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles,

  11. SECOND BOUNDARY MARKER • Sexual perversion Lev 18 22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 23 Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. 24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. 26 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you

  12. SECOND BOUNDARY MARKER 27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), 28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. 29 For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

  13. SECOND BOUNDARY MARKER • Jude 1:7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

  14. THIRD BOUNDARY MARKER • Coming against a Jew or Israel (dividing the land of Israel) Gen 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

  15. THIRD BOUNDARY MARKER 2 Chron 20.7 Are You not our God, who drove out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and gave it to the descendants of Abraham Your friend forever?

  16. THIRD BOUNDARY MARKER Psalm 105 • 7 He is the LORD our God; • His judgments are in all the earth. • 8 He remembers His covenant forever, • The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, • 9 The covenant which He made with Abraham, • And His oath to Isaac, • 10 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, • To Israel as an everlasting covenant, • 11 Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan • As the allotment of your inheritance,”

  17. THIRD BOUNDARY MARKER • Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.

  18. CALL TO INTERCEDE • James 5:16-18 16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Jam 5:17  Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. Jam 5:18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

  19. IDENTIFICATIONAL REPENTANCE • Daniel 9: 1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— 2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. 4 And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.

  20. IDENTIFICATIONAL REPENTANCE • 6 Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. 7 O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. • 8 “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.

  21. IDENTIFICATIONAL REPENTANCE 16 “O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. 17 Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

  22. BLOOD OF JESUS Heb 12: 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
