  2. Announcements CONGRATULATIONS!!!! To Emmanuel Murphy, for conquering to be one of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. top three oratorical winners to Speak at the Hylton Memorial Chapel!!! The theme this year is “There Is Still a Dream To Believe In.” The winner at Parkside (Emmanuel Murphy) will receive a $50.00 savings bond. The PWCS Regional winner of the Middle school level will get a $500.00 savings bond. An additional $500 savings bond will be given for “Best before the judges.” Parkside staff, students and parents, please come out to the Hylton Memorial Chapel and show your support for Emmanuel Murphy at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical event! The event will take place on Monday, January 20th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hylton Memorial Chapel.

  3. Announcements RACHEL’S FIRST FIVE (5): WEEK 10 Monday (Act of Kindness for the week) “Clean up the cafeteria week” and “Clean up after yourselves”. Show the cafeteria workers how much you care by giving them a hand. You just start a chain reaction of school cleanliness.

  5. Announcements All-District Chorus at Benton MS All 8th grade students trying out for all-district chorus at Benton Middle School on Tuesday must have their permission forms and $2.00 audition fee to Mrs. Schlechte by Tuesday.
