Background • Targets for Scotland’s greenhouse gas emissions reductions: • 42% reduction for 2020 (against a 1990 baseline) • 80% reduction for 2050 (against a 1990 baseline) Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 • Part 4 of the Act places climate change duties on Scottish public bodies, including universities and colleges.
