2.  Afin de pouvoir être réellement un acteur économique crédible, l’Université doit pouvoir aider à asseoir un ‘’Environnement entrepreneurial basé sur le savoir’’. In order to be a credible economic actor, the University should be able to put in an entrepreneurial environment which is based on knowledge’’.

3.  L’université se doit de préparer le terreau innovant pour que ses compétences puissent s’exprimer par la création d’Entreprises Innovantes et que ses cadres et idées puissent y être valorisés. The University should prepare the innovative « compost » so that its competences can express them selves through the creation of innovative companies where its staff and ideas can be exploited.

4.  C’est dans ce cadre que s’inscrivent les actions et projets multiples de l’université de Sfax qui visent à réussir deux défis distincts mais complémentaires : la Modernisation et l’Entrepreneuriat. It is in this context that the multiple actions and projects of the University of Sfax are fitted. Those projects are aimed at succeeding in two different but complementary challenges : Modernisation and Entrepreneurship.

9.  Le Réseau est organisé en regroupant un très grandpotentiel en équipements d’analyse et plusieurs Compétences universitaires s’inscrivant dans une dynamique professionnalisée pour travailler avec leurs partenaires Industriels.  The network is gathering together a very highpotential in analytic equipment and many university competences, which fit into a professionnalised dynamic, in order to work with their industrialist partners.

10. Les responsables des appareils partent du principe que lorsque nous travaillons ensemble, nous travaillons plus efficacement et mieux et que les liens qui unissent les deux partenaires, Industriels et Universitaires, sont indéfectibles. The responsables of the equipment start from the notion that when we work together, we work more efficiently and that the links which unify both partners, Industrialists and researchers, are indestructible.

11.  Un CD Rom, regroupant un ensemble de techniques analytiques se trouvant dans différents laboratoires de l’Université de Sfax, a été élaboré et couvre un spectre très large de domaines d’interventions touchant tous les secteurs de notre tissu industriel. A CD, gathering a number of analytic techniques, which exists in different laboratories of the University of Sfax, has been elaborated. It covers a wide range of fields of all of our industrial activities.

12. Pour que ce CD soit accessible à différentes catégories d’utilisateurs le principe de chaque méthode analytique est présenté sommairement ainsi que les domaines d’utilisation possible de l’appareil. In order to make this CD easily accessible to different categories of users the principle of each analytic method is presented briefly together with the equipment possible fields of use.

13. Présenté d’une façon simple et didactique, ce CD est accessible :  à l’industriel, intéressé par son propre domaine d’application ; au chercheur, en quête d’équipements performants pour ses propres travaux. Being presented in a simple and didactical way, the CD is accessible to :  the l’industrialist, interested in his own field of application ; the researcher, looking for performant equipment for his own work.

14. Le Réseau dispose d’un Responsable et d’un Comité de pilotage. Ses activités sont discutées lors de réunions présidées par Monsieur le Président de l’Université. The network has got a Responsable and a Steering comittee. Its activities are discussed during meetings which are chaired by Mr the President of the University.

20. Fidèle à ses objectifs de transfert de technologie, le Réseau s’est engagé dans l’organisation de cycles de formations dans de nombreux domaines, tels que : Faithful to its objective of technology transfer, the Networkhas committed to organizisng training courses in numerous fields, like :

22. Le Réseau a organisé, des journées de formation en la matière de la «Culture Brevet». L'innovation et l'utilisation des brevets sont de moins en moins le monopole des juristes : The network has set up training days on the subject of «Patent Culture». Innovation and use of patents are less and less cosidered as the monopoly of jurists :

23. - les Industriels doivent acquérir une culture brevet ; les entreprises y ont tout intérêt. Un bon brevet est une synthèse réussie entre l'approche économique, l'approche juridique et l'approche technique d'un produit. - À l’université, le brevet peut contribuer à former les chercheurs à la pratique de l'innovation. - Industrialists should acquire a patent culture in which companies have all interest. A good patent is a successful synthesis of the economic approach, the legal approach and the technical approach of a product. - At the University, the patent can contribute to train researchers for the innovation practice.

25. Sachant qu'au départ les participants n'ont aucune connaissance sur les brevets, ils apprennent : à lire un brevet ; à exploiter l'information brevets. In the beginning participants had no knnowledge about patents, they have learned how : to read a patent and exploit patent information.

27. Les experts ont insisté sur des exercices de rédaction de cas concrets de brevet en espérant que les participants soit motiver pour la création de leurs propres brevets. The experts insisted on writing exercices of concrete examples of patentshoping to motivate participants to create their own patents.

28. De nombreux industriels et chercheurs venus de plusieurs entreprises, comme le Groupe Chimique Tunisien ; de plusieurs centres de recherche, comme le Centre de Biotechnologie de Sfax,… ; plusieurs laboratoires, comme celui du 3 E (Eau Energie, Environnement)…et de plusieurs unités de recherche… ont pu trouver une réponse à des questions particulières, ou une orientation vers une solution. Many industrialists and researchers coming from many companies, like the Tunisian Chemical Group ; many research centres, like the Centre of Biotechnology of Sfax,… ; many laboratories, like the one ofWater, Energy and Environment… and many research units… could find answers to particular questions, or guidance to solutions.

29. Les participants ayant été très convaincus de l’intérêt du brevet et de la nécessité de protéger son travail de recherche ou son invention, ont demandé : à l’unanimité une troisième Ecole de Formation qui aura pour objectifs, la présentation du côté pratique de la propriété intellectuelle en l’occurrence un atelier baptisé «apprendre à rédiger un brevet d’invention». As the participants were convinced of the patent interest and the necessity to protect its research work or its invention, they asked unanimouslyfor a third training siminar Which will have as an objective, the presentation of the practical side of the intellectual property in this case a workshop named «Learn how to write a patent».

30. L’année 2006 a vu une montée croissante en matière de formation. Trois écoles ont été réalisées : i) la culture brevet : où plusieurs messages importants ont été délivrés : * La stratégie de propriété intellectuelle fait partie intégrante de la stratégie de R&D de l'entreprise. * La propriété intellectuelle, en particulier le brevet d'invention, est un investissement considérable pour l’université ou la société. * Le brevet peut contribuer à l'image de marque et/ou être un facteur de motivation pour son personnel de R&D.

31. l’accréditation : l’Université de Sfax a opté pour la qualité et décide de former ses propres experts en la matière. Des actions pour promouvoir la mise en place et le déploiement de démarche qualité au sein de l’université ont commencé The accreditation:the University of Sfax has opted for Quality and decided to train its own experts on the subject. Actions for the promotion of the implementation and the deployment of quality procedure in side the University have started

32. A titre d’exemple du 20 au 22 juin 2006 à l’hôtel Syphax, Mme Maha EL BIDAOUI expert à l’AIEA (Vienne) a animé un atelier sur l’accréditation et la certification. Une quarantaine de personne entre universitaire et industriels ont participé pour apprendre les premiers jalons de l’accréditation. Le message de base: diffuser l’information, favoriser les échanges de bonnes pratiques, conseiller les laboratoires dans leurs démarches… As an examplefrom 20 to 22 june 2006 at Syphax hotel, Ms Maha EL BIDAOUI, expert at the AIEA (Vienna), conducted a training siminar on accreditation and certification. About fortypersonsamongresearchers and industrialiststook part in it to understand the first steps of accreditation. The basic message: to spread information, favour the exchange of good paractices, give laboratoriesrecommendation in theirprocedures…

33. CHROMATOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES  (SPE, SPME, HEADSPACE…) Du 24 au 25 Septembre 2010 à L’Université de Sfax. INTERVENANT : Sophie FOURMENTIN-LAMOTTE. • Dans cet atelier sont présentées les techniques de préparation de l’échantillon avant analyse en chromatographie en phase gazeuse. • In this workshop the preparation techniques of the sample, before Gas Phase Chromatography analysis, were presented.

34. CHROMATOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES (SPE, SPME, HEADSPACE…) Du 24 au 25 Septembre 2010 à L’Université de Sfax. • Les différentes techniques pour matrices liquides ou solides ainsi que les critères de choix de ces techniques ont été abordés.  • The different techniques for liquid or solid phases in addition to their criteria of choice were discussed • Nombre de participants : 45.
